A brain protein called Amyloid has been connected to the development of Alzheimer’s Disease since it was discovered by Dr Alzheimer in the early 1900s.
But it’s only now that researchers are really unravelling its mysteries…and that’s giving them hope that they might one day be able to turn amyloid off…and reduce people’s risks of developing the dementia that is the dreaded hallmark of Alzheimer’s Disease…
Research is underway in Australia and New Zealand to investigate the very earliest signs of Alzheimer’s Disease.
